  • 1st IPhone

    On January 9 apple announced that they were making the first IPhone. Steve Jobs set the line for a modern phone.
  • 1st IPhone in stores

    The IPhone 1 was offically released on June 29, 2007.It had a keypad for a touchscreen and adding advanced computer-like capabilities that hadn't been seen before, it set the standard for this modern device.
  • IPhone 3G

    The IPhone 3G came out on on June 9, 2008. The people that saw or bought this device called it the iPhone 2G due to the fact that it was the only iPhone to ship with the 2G-speed EDGE network.
  • IPhone 3GS

    The "s" stood for speed. The improvements include performance, a 3-megapixel camera with higher resolution and video ability, voice control and support for 7.2 Mbit/s HSDPA downloading . The IPhone 3GS was released in the United States, Canada, and six European countries on June 19, 2009,in Australia and Japan on June 26, and internationally in July and August 2009.
