    Andragogy is the art of teaching adults. This defines that adults learn differently from children and therefore, need to be treated differently in the classroom.

    Throughout the 90’s technology boomed. Computers-based learning began, learners were able to work on their own pace, make mistakes, receive feedback without feeling pressured, and retake the course if it was necessary (Estep, 2008). E-learning allows employers to provide more training's, minimized costs, related time off for training and travel.

    Behaviorism continues to have a strong influence in learning theory. Technology continues to grow, and learners are now able to access learning from a cell phone or an iPad. Estep (2008) explains that “Web 2.0 technologies allow people to connect to each other to enhance collaborative learning; and wikis, knowledge management systems, and more allow workers to find the knowledge and learning they need, when they need it.”
