The first IPhone was shown to the public on January 9, 2007. It was invented by Steve Job, who was the CEO and founder of Apple. Apple is the company with proprietorship over the IPhone. The IPhone was a revolutionary phone with touch controls and internet connections. The Iphone cost $499-$599. The IPhone 3G is the second model of the IPhone. It was created about a year after the original IPhone on June 9, 2008. This IPhone costed a mere $199 and included a GPS. The IPhone 3GS came out on June 19, 2009. It is twice as fast as the IPhone 3G and runs on the software IPhone 3.0. The IPhone 4
The IPhone 4 came out in June 7 2010. The IPhone 4 used the software IOS 4 (fore-runner for the current IOS Software). IPhone 5
The IPhone 5 was released on September 12, 2012. This was the first IPhone with a 4 inch screen and pixels at 326 ppi. The IPhone 5S and 5C came out in September 20, 2013. The IPhone 5S is the first IPhone with touch ID. The IPhone 5C has a poly-carbonate steel body, with rounded edges, and bright colors. IPhone 6 and Iphone 6 plus
The IPhone 6 and 6 plus came out on September 9, 2014. The IPhone 6 is only 6.8 millimeters thick, whereas the IPhone 6 plus is 7.1 millimeters thick. However the IPhone 6 is only 4.7 inches, while the IPhone 6 plus is 5.5 inches. Due to larger screen size, the IPhone 6 plus has a higher resolution. IPhone 7 and IPhone 7 plus
The IPhone 7 and 7 plus has a new home button which uses pressure and it is water resistant. This new IPhone also comes without a headphone jack. The IPhone 7 plus comes with a better camera, with a 10x zoom. Both IPhones are 2x faster than the IPhone 6, and have longer battery life.
