2007 IPhone
The first and most basic IPhone was created, only 16 GB with little to no apps. It had easy access to the internet with a big screen and a camera! -
2008 IPhone 3G
Similar to the first IPhone not much changed, except the App store was added. This meant you were able to get more apps other than just the internet and the ones that came with the phone. -
2010 IPhone 4
This was the first IPhone with a front camera. The display improved and so did the storage and memory. Things really started to improve. -
2011 IPhone 4 s
On this phone, both camera improved as well as the storage. The biggest addition was Siri was introduced on this IPhone. -
2012 IPhone 5
The camera stayed the same on this phone but the memory and storage improved again. It also had LTE connectivity which meant you could now get on to the internet from anywhere. The screen was also bigger. -
2013 IPhone 5s & 5c
The IPhone 5c was affordable because Apple made a plastic back for it. It was available in many different colors. The 5s was also available in a few colors. The 5s introduced touch ID, dual flash, and slomo videos! -
2015 IPhone 6s & 6plus
These two phones changed everything. The camera was improved a lot as well as the memory. The phone was bigger and 3D touch was introduced. -
2016 IPhone SE
This IPhone was a little smaller than others. It was a more affordable option but didn't include the 3D Touch. -
2016 IPhone 7 & 7Plus
The gigabyte space increased on these phones. The plus model was very popular because it wasn't really seen before. There were new camera features, like portrait mode. This is where the headphone jack was removed. -
2017 IPhone 8 & 8Plus
Here, wireless charging was introduced and a better display. The wireless lifestyle started here. -
2017 IPhone X
Multiple cameras were included on this phone as well as an extra front facing one. All about the cameras here. -
2018 IPhone XR
This was a cheaper model introduced, it was smaller and the display wasn't great. -
2019 IPhone 11
This was offered in many different colors as well as a new display. The camera was improved, offered a wide lense.
