    The east india company is a group of merchants that formed on December 31, 1600. They ruled an entire empire, which was weird and didn't usually happen. They had trade over all trade in the East Indies.

    The INC was founded on Decedmber 28, 1855 by founders of the occultist movement. It is the largest, and oldest democratic group in the world.
  • Sepoy Rebellion

    Sepoy Rebellion
    During the Sepoy Rebellion, Indian soldiers were forcd to go over seas, and fight in the Brittish army. They had to go against their religious beliefs of no pork or beef, and use guns that were covered in beef and pork fat. The Indians then used their guns that they were given by the Brittish, and fought back to gain their freedom.

    Gandhi is known as the father of India. He believed strongly in peace and harmony. When he was 78, he went on a fasting strike, to try and stop fighting. After not eating for five days, the leaders agreed to stop, so he could eat again.

    The muslim league was formed by the Muslim Educational conference on March 22, 1906. Their goal was to have a plan for Muslims,and to protect Muslim's right's in India.

    The Britains wouldn't let the Indian's make salt. Ghandi led a march of 50,000 people 200 miles to the sea to make salt. Gandhi, along with th 50,000 Indians were arrested.

    Gandhi was entering a prayer meeting, and was murdered by a Hindu nationalist. As he was walking in, Nathuram Godse fired three shots at close range directly at Gandhi.
