    Cut tax (tariff) on molasses made in other countries so colonists would stop buying it and buy British instead. Colonist brought in molasses illegally anyway

    The colonist had to pay tax for paper goods like licenses and pamphlets , paying cards ,dice. The sons of Liberty bullied tax collectors and government. Continental congress met and said no taxation with or without representation.

    On March 1766, Parliament ended Stamps Act but instead created the Declaration Act so they wouldn't look wimpy. British had to tax control over colonist. They celebrated success of Stamp Act congress

    The colonist didn't like the soldiers so they started throwing stones, sticks etc. The British shot at the colonist and killed 3 people and some of them are wounded. They called it Massacre to make British look bad.
