To release demons from a person's body, the "medicine man" would drill a hole into the patient's head. In most cases, this procedure was done without permission. Trephination was painful and fatal. -
Tuskegee Syphilis Study
1932-1972
This study was to show the history of untreated syphilis. About 600 African American males were told that during this study they would receive free medical care but instead they were given placebos. Due to not being educated on syphilis is spread very quickly. -
Nazi Concentration Camp Experiments
1935-1945
These experiments were very inhumane and resulted in the death of anyone who was not born with pure German blood. The experiments would even go as far as performing surgeries on people without a reason and without anesthesia.
