    268 plays were offered in New York City in 1927. So it was obvious that broadway shows were pretty popular.

    The Jazz singer was not the first movie but the first movie with sound.

    During this time the radio airwaves improved and now half of the popular had a radio. (A lot back then) The radio was also a really good way of advertizment for people.
