    What it is?
    The Enlightment is a period of time in European history which occurred between 18th and 17th century. The enlightment was a time when a man Isaac newton gave reason that humans should question the world and things around them. This theory was called the enlightment.
    What happened?
    The enlightment challenged the thought of the middle ages and the kings and queens who thought religion was the only answer to life and that everyone should be religious

    I believe the church community and the Royalties were affected because people would have been questioning if the beliefs they had been told were true or not. This would have brought up and lot of trouble among the people of these times.

    James Cook is a famous explore he was the man who discovered the Australian East coast in 1770. He extended the land bounders of the British empire into the southern hemisphere.     Native Australians also known as aboriginals have dark coloured skin and where the first people to settle in Australia. The Aboriginal people are believed to have come from Africa, they were first discovered by the British on the 28 of April 1770 when Captain James cook arrived in botany bay. When the British invaded Australia it caused a lot of trouble there were main fights and damage was made too many. aboriginal heritage sites and artefacts.     A convict is a person who has been imprisoned for not following the law. On the 25th of January 1788 the English government decided to ship over the entire population of England’s convicts to Australia. All the convicts were sent over on a massive vestal called the first fleet. The British always sent there prisoners to America but in 1783 America refused to accepted any more prisoner and needed to find somewhere else to send them. The British then decided to send them to Australia.

The reason most people moved to Australia as free settlers is because they want to start a new life. Life as a free settler wasn’t the best they had come from a developed country to a country unfamiliar to them. Australia was full of different animals, plants, climate, soil and people.

    The battle of Gallipoli occurred on the peninsula of Gallipoli in the Ottoman Empire on the 25 of April 1915 to 9 January 1916. Many countries fought at Gallipoli including Ottoman Empire (Turkey), Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and Britain. The Australian army arrived in ships on the shores of Gallipoli one mile too far north due to really strong tides and winds to be ambushed by the Turks. The terrain was open and hilly and the turks had already set up a ambush for th aussie and many died.
