There was also something important called prose, which was basically used for tranlation of legal, medical and religious text. -

A remarkable fact in this age was the stablishing of english as the official language in courts and the law. As well as the old English, here there were a lot un unknow writers, one of the one who could get to be recognized was John Wyclif who did the translation of the bible in english. -
In art it was recognized some genres such as, comedy, drama, skepticism. Female authors were important and gave contribution to this era. A huge desire to catch up with philosophy and arts was relevant for people who wanted to be more educated.
