In 1835 five two architects built the Teagle. The Teagle was an elevator that used a crane to pull its users and items up being the first elevator invented. -
Steam Powered Elevator
In 1853 Elisha Otis Invented the Steam Powered Elevator. In the Elevator was a safety break Function in case of emergency. This elevator made it to where if the cables snap the break will kick in and hopefully stop the elevator before it hits the ground. -
Hydrophilic Elevator's Are Made
The First Hydraulic Elevator was made by Léon Édoux. The Hydraulic Elevator used mostly water using pressure and pistons to push up the platform. The hydraulic Elevator was mostly used in Europe Factories. -

Electric Elevators
The first Electric Elevator was made by Werner von Siemens. He created the first electric elevator in 1880. Seven Years later after Alexander Miles, another inventor patented his elevator. -
Vacuum Elevator
The first Vaccum Elevator was invented by the company Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators LLC. The elevator uses air pressure to push up or down the platform smoothly. The Vaccum Elevator uses less space and mechanisms than the average Elevator. The Vaccum Elevator is used for homes because of its lack of machines, small size, and Smooth riding.
