ELA The Outsiders

  • Ponyboy gets mugged by a couple of Socs.

  • The rest of the gang chases the Socs away

  • Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dallas go to a drive-in movie theater, and meet Cherry and Marcia.

  • Dally bugs the girls, but Johnny tells him to stop.

  • Two-Bit arrives and they go home with Cherry and Marcia

  • On the way home, Cherry and Marcia's boyfriends come up to them and tell the girls to come with them

  • Johnny and Ponyboy sit in the open lot and fall asleep

  • Ponyboy wakes up later and runs home

  • When Ponyboy got home, Darry was mad at him for coming home late and hit Ponyboy

  • Ponyboy and Johnny run to the park to cool off

  • Ponyboy and Johnny get jumped by Bob and his gang

  • Johnny stabs Bob

  • After Johnny had stabbed Bob, Ponyboy and Johnny ran to Dallas to ask for help

  • After getting advice from Dallas, they go to a little church in Windrexville

  • Johnny and Ponyboy cut their hair

  • Dallas came to get them food

  • When they return, they find the church on fire with kids stuck inside

  • They saved the children from the burning church

  • Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dallas all got hurt from saving the children and ended up in a hospital

  • Ponyboy reunites with his brothers and goes home

  • They find out that Johnny is going to die, but don't want to accept it

  • The rumble goes on and the greasers are the victors

  • Ponyboy and Dally go to the hospital to tell Johnny they won the rumble

  • Johnny died in the hospital

  • Dallas was very upset about Johnny dying, so he robbed a grocery store and got shot by the police

  • Ponyboy, Sodapop, Darry and some of the Socs had to go to court because of Bob dying

  • Sodapop finally snaps from all of the stress he is under

  • The brothers decide to stick together through everything

  • Ponyboy writes a story about what he thought was important, which was the book we just read
