Hosni Mubarak resigns as president.
Government corruption, the blocking of Twitter/Facebook, poverty, as well as unemployment led Egyptians to protesting their government -
1.) Suspends the Constituion
2.) Dissolves both houses of Parliament
3.) Military will rule for six months before the elections -
Shafik was asked by Mubarak to form a new government. Protestors were angry because they wanted to end a military-ruled government, however the government Mubarak was forming had many military officials appointed. Therefore, they pressured members of Mubarak's government to step down in order to create a change in how Egypt is ruled.

Thousands of protesters demanded the military council revoke their old regime which is letting the military control the government. This was also the largest protest since Mubarak's resignation.

National Democratic Party is removed from the government.

Mubarak's name is removed from all public monuments

Former president Mubarak is made to stand trial on account of being charged with "premeditated murder" of peacful nonviolent protestors. He could face the death penalty if convicted.

On this day, civilian protestors demand no military civilian trials. Protestors want the Egyptian Constitution to be made before the Parliment Elections happen. Also, they demand that the gang who killed protestors in January and Febuary to be put on trial.

Many thousands of protestors gathered in Suez, Alexandria and Tahrir Square in Cairo, in an attempt to express their frustration with the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces for ruling over their people. The fear that swept through the protestors was that the military will continue to rule indefinitely.

On this day, protestors initiated prayer in Tahrir Square. However, the military eventually came to break it up.

What is meant by "correcting the path" is to correct the path of revolution, and in this way pressuring and protesting the military to step down and hand over power to a civilian government.
