    Beginnings of his artistic career

    In 2005, even in high school, Sheeran began recording music and released her extended play debut The Orange Room independently.8 When she was fifteen she met Passenger and together they held several concerts in Cambridge.9 Between 2006 and 2007 Sheeran released two studio albums, and in 2008,8 at age sixteen, dropped out of high school and moved to London to pursue an artistic career. When she settled in the city of London she began to perform small performances Musicals on open mic nights.

    In June 2011 the artist's simple debut with a record label, "The A Team", was released after being released on the British television show Later ... with Jools Holland, BBC, at the end of April of the same year. She also opted for the album's album of the year for her collaboration on Taylor Swift's fourth album, Red (2012) . On June 1, 2014, "Sing" was released as the lead single from her second album , Co-written by the performer along with Pharrell Williams, who also produced it. "Sing" was a hit in the UK, where it became the first Sheeran song to win # 1 on the singles list Territory.

    On 13 December 2016, after a year long hiatus and social media break, Sheeran tweeted a picture and changed his Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to a light blue, implying the release of a new album – each of Sheeran's previous albums were a single coloured background with a solid mathematical symbol.[107] On 1 January 2017, Sheeran uploaded a video on social media websites which shows him holding a piece of paper with the words "New Music Coming Friday" written on it.
