    These shops have always been around, there is no actual time when these shops were opened. Pre-entry closed shops only allowed companies to hire union members only. Post-entry closed shops forced members to join the union if they are not already members, if not then they won't get hired. This depleted unemployment since many would join unions and were assured of a job position.

    This established guidelines to unfair labor practices. It required companies to fire employees that refused to join the union. So many lost their jobs and caused a slight increase to the unemployment rate.

    This was created by President Truman. This ensured that all Americans were guaranteed health insurance, the minimum wage is raised, and that all Americans were given equal rights. This involves economy, because American's wages were increased. This ended in 1953.

    This puts the responsibility of of economic stability of inflation and unemployment on the government. It was the government's responsibility to sustain the nation's economics. This is where groups in the government like the Council of Economic Advisers would organize the situation and resolve it.

    Striking Women

    As more men enlisted in the military, women were given the opportunity to work in positions that only a man was allowed to do. They worked in factories and generally filled in all the jobs that the men left. This sustained America's economic growth, because as the men left to fight in war, the women were able to keep trade going.
