The Vikings
You think that Christopher Columbus was the first person to walk and explore the new world well your wrong. The First person to explore the new world was Leif Ericsson when hes sailed to Norway, King Olaf I converted him to Christianity. Then he left Norway to sail back to Greenland but he didn't make it back he landed on North America on accident. So Ericsson explored a region he called Vinland Which is now called Canada. -

Spain came to America on September 24,1493 and took Native Americans land. They had
better things then the Native Americans like weapons,animals,cannons, guns, horses and diseases that killed a lot of Native Americans. Due to that they couldn't fight back they were weak. Spanish enslaved most Native Americans they either had to play taxes or do labor.
