  • Trail of Tears

    Trail of Tears
    Cherokee Indians are forced to move from Georgia to Arkansas by President Andrew Jackson. Thousands of Native Americans died in the foced move.
  • Dred Scott Decision

    Dred Scott Decision
    Scott's master moved him to a free state and then back to a slave state. Scott sued, saying that since he had lived in a free state, then he was a free man. Supreme Court says Scott can't sue because slaves aren't citizens of the US.
