    During the Indian wars in the United States. A Colorado militia attacked and destroyed villages of the Cheyenne and the Arapaho Indian tribes. They killed 70-163 Indians

    There were three treaties in the medicine lodge treaty. These treaties protected the indians peace and protection from the white man. And the Indians also relocated westward.
  • 2nd Treaty of Ft. Laramine

    2nd Treaty of Ft. Laramine
    This treaty was also called the Sioux Treaty. This treaty was between the United States and the Lakota people. This gave the Lakota ownership of the Blac k Hills. And further land and hunting rights.
  • Battle of Palo Duro Canyon

    This battle was the major battle of the Red River War. It ended the confinement of the southern plain indians. The 4th calvary of the United States came up form the south to trap the Indians in their refuge.

    The battle of Little Bighorn lasted for 2 days. It was the battle between the Lakota tribe, Arapaho tribe against the 7th calvary regiment and the United states army. The Lakota and Arapaho tribes won this war

    After miners found gold on their land they were forced to shrink its reservation size. They then decided it would be best to relocate the tribe. They wanted to relocate in Canada but stopped just shy of the canadian border in Montana.

    Geronimo was a leader of the Apache. He and his tribe fought against Mexico and United States for Apache lands for several decades. Geronimo surrenderred to General George Crook at Canon de los Embudos, Sonora, Mexico.

    This was the last battle of the Indian vs American war. The US army surrounded the Sioux Indians around their reservation. They were wanting to arrest Big Foot. The US troops killed all the things that they had.
