First E-cigarette patent was Made by Herbert A. Gilbert. It worked just like todays E-cigarettes with a battery and a coil. Except no manufactures would produce his idea because of the love of normal cigarettes. His patent eventually expired.

FDA is prohibited from banning e-cigarettes as a drug or drug combination device. E-cigarettes can in fact be used to smoke marijuana but the FDA can no longer suspend all e-cigarettes for it.

E-cigarettes today have grown into such a big thing used by many adults and even many teens. They have changed a lot over the years now with different modifiers on every vape such as a flashlight. A big variety of different flavors definitely pulls people in and keeps them trying different flavors and has become how big it is today because of it.
