  • Allen Pace Fired From Dunbar

Allen Pace was fired from Dunbar Armored for tampering with company vehicles. However, he had already gathered enough information to carry out his heist.
  • The Group Gathers

The group gathered at a house party on the night of the robbery, to establish a proper alibi. They would later return to the party after the robbery
  • Robbery Begins: 12:30

The men entered the facility at 12:30 AM, and carried out their crime swiftly. Pace knew the vault was kept open on Friday nights, due to large sums of money being moved in and out.
  • Back at the Party: 1:00

They stole $18.9 million in under 30 minutes, and then returned to the party they were at beforehand. The group waited 6 months before attempting to launder the money, which they did, mostly in real estate.
  • Eugene Hill Slips Up

Eugene Hill messed up the entire operation 2 years later, by giving a real estate broker a stack of cash in its original currency paper wrapper. The broker went to the police, and Hill was arrested. He then named the other 5 men
  • Allen Pace Sentenced

Allen Pace III, initially claiming innocence and being the mastermind of the operation, was sentenced to 24 years in prison. Boyd got 17 years, because he carried a gun and had a previous criminal record. The other four plead guilty, and got sentences between 8 and 10 years.
  • Allen Pace Released

Allen Pace was released from prison, as were the rest of the heist members. As of today around $12 million of the stolen cash is unaccounted for, and none of them has discussed where it is hidden. However, the FBI is likely watching all of them very closely, so it is unlikely they will be able to spend too much of it.
