Drone Modifications
One July 21st, 2015 an 18-year-old Connecticut man may be in trouble with federal aviation officials after posting a video online that shows shots being fired from a gun-carrying drone. Now the man was on his own property at the time, but the potential danger this brings is very high due to the fact of limted laws on drones. Just about anyone like him can use drones like that and put weapons on them. After July 25th the situation eventually calmed down, but the viral video is still at large. -
Drone Drops Drugs in Inmate Yard
On July 29th, 2015 a prison 65 miles southwest of Clevelandhad had a drone drop a package containing almost a quarter of an ounce of heroin, over 2 ounces of marijuana and more than 5 ounces of tobacco. After which that happened an inmate fight broke out in the yard of the prison. Such types of situation are why drones are a very big risk due to not so strict or enforced laws. As of Aug. 2nd the siuations was still under investigation. -
Federals Warn of Terrorist Drones
On August 1st there were reports of terrorist activity possibly involved with drones. If terrorists got there hands on drones that could be a very dangerous situations. They could use drones for just about anything, they could do anything from using it to spy on people or even strap a bomb to it and use it to harm people. As of November 11th though the U.S. goverment had taken the possibilty into play and will discussing on how to enforce drone laws. -
Drones Start To Become a Problem
Drones are a problem currently in todays society. Due to the fact that anyone person really can get a drone. Whether it be a little one or a huge one. Drones problems are that they do not have very strict or enforced regulations on them. For example, a drone legally cannot fly past a certain height, yet the goveremnt won't do anything to enforce that law. There have even been reports of drones crashing into planes, something that heavy can do alot of damage to a plane. -
Lawmakers Push for More Regulations on Drones
On September 27th reports of drones rised to 920. Drone sightings were at an all time high, lawmakers are pushing for more control of drones on the public. Due to the fact that there are very fews laws over drones and they can be a hazard to some. Drones cause a potential hazard to many and if they aren't being well regulated, then that propoeses a very big risk. As of October 10th lawmakers are working on putting stricter laws on drones.
