The Spanish explorer Juan Manuel de Ayala was the first to sail into what is now known as San Francisco Bay - his expedition mapped the bay and named one of the three islands Alcatraces. Over time, the name was Anglicized to Alcatraz. -

The military had left behind 30 of their worst criminals and had hired men to work on the island at the prison, and move there with their family. -

He had been moved to Alcatraz because he kept trying to escape other prisons. -

Moose and Piper get caught
Piper starts a business with Moose selling shirts sold by convicts but kids start to lose interest.The warden catches them and almost fires moose father as a result he takes away his baseball and glove. -

This was the worst dust storm in history and caused immense economic and agricultural damage. -
moose stays entertained
Moose starts hunting around outside the prison's rec center every day with Natalie hoping to find a stray baseball before piper does but is very unlucky and is struggling to keep his self entertained. -

Moose loses Natalie while looking for a baseball and when he finds her shes with a prisoner and when the man sees moose he gives moose a baseball. The reason hes called 105 is because when he stood up he had "105" on his back. -
Closer
Moose's family starts to notice that Natalie social skills are improving. Moose father thanks Moose for hanging out with her more and moose starts to build a stronger bond with his father and with Natalie realizing shes not that bad. -
People notice something.
People on the island start to notice that Natalie is acting weird and something is wrong which is bad for moose family because if the warden finds out Natalie is autistic they will have to leave Alcatraz. -
Moose tells the truth
Moose tells the warden about Natalie now they have to leave because they do not have the requirements to live on Alcatraz. -
Moose writes a letter
Moose dose not want to give up on Natalie not going to school so he has an idea to write a letter to Al Capone to help him get her into school. -
Natalie gets excepted to the school
Natalie get excepted to Esther P. Marinoff School. Right after the news Moose finds a note in his pocket that says "done" after righting AL Capone the letter. -
Al Capone leaves Alcatraz
Al Capone gets moved to a island prison in south Carolina. -
Albert Eisenstein alerts FDR of bomb.
Albert Einstein alerts Franklin D. Roosevelt to an A-bomb opportunity, which led to the creation of the Manhattan Project. Einstein had arrived as a fugitive from Nazi Germany six years earlier. -
WW2 started.
Hitler invaded Poland from the west; two days later, France and Britain declared war on Germany, beginning World War II. -
Prisoners successfully escape Alcatraz
Frank Morris and brothers John and Clarence Anglin vanished from their cells and were never seen again. -
A prisoner escapes Alcatraz but is caught
John Paul Scott was the first prisoner to escape Alcatraz but was caught by the golden gate bridge as he swam all the way to San Francisco. -
Alcatraz prison shuts down
The government shuts down Alcatraz because it was to expensive and everything had to be shipped across the water. -
Alcatraz opens up
The island opened to the public in the fall of 1973 and has become one of the most popular Park Service sites.
