Harker decides to go to the Count's room during the day through the ceiling, upon entering, he finds gold and jewelry powdered by time, later he finds a box where the Count rests, who is motionless inside it, as if dead, with his eyes open.

The Count tells Harker that he will be able to leave tomorrow, however, the latter asks him to leave at that moment; when he tries to leave the castle, a group of wolves are waiting for him, so his attempts to flee are frustrated.
