Children from Britain won a science contest to visit a wildlife conservation in Ecuador. The plane was hijacked and landed in the ocean of Ecuador. Semi, Miranda and Arnie were the only survivors. -

Dr Franklin's Island

Day Three
Arnie, Miranda and Semi make a beach shelter and wait for a rescue plane. The three students try to find fresh water and follow their instincts to get some supplies from the wreckage. They see other people from their science contest (Planet Savers) floating in the water and realize they are alone. First notch is cut into athe coconut palm tree to mark how long they were there. -
Day Eleven
Miranda comes in contact with the first mutated animal, a piglet with little human hands. -
Day Forty
Thought they were rescued but instead they were captured by Dr.Franklins goons. The goons took the three kids to what looked like a hotel, but with cages with beds. -
Day Sixty-three
Miranda and Semi changed into animals, Miranda is a bird and Semi is a fish. The doctor implanted a telepathy chip so they can talk to each other. They believe that Arnie has been killed by the doctor. The girls meet in their heads using telepathy to cut a notch every night. -
Day Seventy
They find that Arnie is alive. They do this by insulting him and getting him to appear in "The white place". Arnie admits that he is a spy for Dr. Franklin. He also tells them Radio telepathy is the type of radio where the doctor can't hear what they say to each other. Arnie tells them about the doctors big plan and that there are antidotes for each of them. -
Day Ninety
Semi has the antidote, Miranda does not and now she is turning more into her animal self and ignoring Semi. Dr. Skinner has now showed up at Semi's tank. He is helping Arnie get them the antidotes and help them escape. -
Day One Hundred and two
Semi understands that Dr. Franklin will vivisect Miranda and she will die as part of his experiment. -
Day One Hundred and three
Dr. Skinner tells Semi the escape has to happen now. Semi had to trust him and showed up at the boat on time as a human. Dr. Franklin interupted the escape again. when they reached land they were back with there parents. -
day 108
They all escape, Dr. Franklin is killed and Dr. Skinner stays behind. Semi is on the boat trying to give the other two their antidotes before they reach land.
