    Catherine and Henry were maried for 24 years, from 1509 to 1533. Henry Married her because she had previously been married to his brother (Arthur) untill he had died. She was also a spanish princess , and so the marriage would bring alliegance with spain, and Catherine was also very popular. When catherine was forty, Henty thought that she was boring. She bore him a son, also called Henry, but he died at 7 weeks old. She also gave birth to Mary. With no male heir, Henry divorced Catherine.

    Henry and Anne were married for 3 years, from 1533 to 1536. Henry thought that she was young, fashionable and sexy. Anne mascarried a baby boy and gave him Elizabeth. Henry accused her of having sex with 4 men and her brother. she was beheaded in 1536

    Henry and Jane were marriedfor only a year, from 1536 untill 1537. Jane was kind, gentle and caring. She tried to made friends with Henry's children. She gave Henry a son at last. Jane died of an infection a few days after giving birth to a boy. Henry had fallen completely in love with Jane, and was devastated when she died. He waited 2 years before marrying again. This was the longest time inbetween marriages that Henry had.

    Jane and Henry were married for only 6 months in 1540. Cleves is a reigon in Germany. Henry marrying here brought an alliegance between the countries. Henry saw a very flattering painting of her, and wanted to marry her on the basis of that. When he saw her for real he called her a fat flanders mare. The picture attached is the flattering one She was serious and unfashionable, and didn't understand Henry's card games. Henry divorced her, but gave her money and land; they both remained friends.

    Catherine and Henry were amrried for 2 years form 1540 to 1542 Catherine was young and pretty. Catherine flirted with other men. Henry found a letter to one of her lovers that finished "yours as long as life endures". He also found out that she had had a few serious relationships before Henry. A Queen should not have a past like this. Henry executed her. When she was told her fate she ran screaming to Henry for forgiveness.. He locked the door.Her ghost is said to haunt Hampton court Palace.

    Henry and Catherine were married from 1543 untill Henry died in 1547. The marriage ensured that, as Catherine was Protestant, Edward would grow up Protestant as well. She was also very intelligent and wrote the first book published by an English Queen under her own name. Henry died in 1547 while they were still married, and Catherine died a year later
