Thaumatrope
In 1824, Dr. Peter Mark Roget invented Thaumatrope. Thaumatropes were the first optical illusions that were used to study the persistence of vision. To make a Thaumatrope you use a cardboard and a string. You draw two different images on the cardboard and connect them using a string. In order to get the illusion you have to spin it, the faster it is spun the better the image is. -
First Published Photograph
The first photograph was taken in 1827 using simple chemicals and a metal plate. It was a long process, it took around 8 hours to be produced. -
Muybridge Sequential Movements
Muybridge used several cameras to catch a Sequential photo. He photographed the movements of Humans, and Animals. Muybridge had done around 781 plates of sequential images. His artwork is presented in museums around the world. In this picture you could see they are well-trained gymnasts, however they are wearing suits and a hat leading it to be more of a comedy piece. -

My own thaumatrope
I drew a fish bowl in one side and in the other a fish. I attached an elastic and spun it around until I got the image I needed. -
Significane of Starwars.
StarWars left a major significance in the history of the science fiction genre.It introduced the idea of having an outer galaxy yet having it realistic and accurate to what we have been learning for the past years.It included special effects and made it seem so realistic and believable that this was actually happening. Having amazing edits and lots of people to contribute to the work is not easy and need to be given credit for. Therefore, StarWars includes the ending credit to thank everyone.
