On the 10th of December 1859 Queenslands first Govonor Sir George Ferguson and his Lady Daimantina was the day that they arrived in Brisbane. It was for the proclamation of Queensland being established as a colony. -
The Fist Telegraph in Queensland
In April 1861, it was the establishment of the first telegraph line, which then the communication level started revolutionising in the colony. It was the first link between Ipswich and Brisbane and was later extended it Sydney. -
