    Democracy Government

    Democracy Government
Democracy is where all citizens shared the power. Every citizen was allowed to vote on every issue. People under 18 couldn't be citizens. No slaves or women were allowed to vote. You had to be born in that city-state in order to vote. At least 6000 people had to attend the assembly for a vote to be passed. People that were late would get their clothes dipped in disgraceful and ugly red paint. India still uses democracy today.
