    Oligarchy

    Oligarchy
    A. Oligarchy is ruled by usually only a few people.
    B. Oligarchy used army soldiers to force others to obey. They also ignored the needs of others.
    C. The eventual end was caused by the poor who found other leaders, which were soldiers, to throw out the power of Oligarchy. A negative from this rule was that they ignored the poor and needy.
    D. This rule is still used in North Korea, for example Kim Jong-il

    Tyranny

    Tyranny
    a) A Tyranny is ruled by one person. Usually not a lawful king.
    b) One ruled the government by helping others. Tyrants also improved the lives of the poor.
    c) The eventual end of the Tyranny rule was caused by Hippias' harsh ruling. He treated people cruely. A negative to this rule was that the people were giving all the power to one person.
    d) A place with Tyranny today is Greece. Tyranny was associated with Oligarchy.

    a) A ruling power was shared by citizens.
    b) One method of Democracy's rule was that they had an assembly for voting a law.
    c) The eventual end of Democracy was that an assembly occured reversing important decisions.
    d) Democracy is used to govern its people. Sweden, Finland, Switzerland and many other places ise democracy.
