Without a report in two months, Coronado and Fray Marcos are ordered to search for DeVaca and his men.

Coronado and Fray Marcos later discover DeVaca's bones and are attacked by the Native Americans. Fray Marcos dies during the battle. Coronado later returns to Spain with the rest of his men.
