Jay, Violet, Jeesie and the rest of their friends go to Justin's (new kid) house in the mountains, only the dad an abusive drunk is a chaperone on the trip. You find out the house is 30 minutes away from any phone or way of communinication. Violet connects pieces between a file the FBI gave her anf Justin's past. -

Violet uses her "gift" to locate the dead and finds Justins dead mother buired a little away from the house. She is drawn to it because she can regonize the echo from Justin's dad. The FBI gets involved and goes to the house. Justin tries to kill his father after finding out but is stopped by Jay. The dad ends up commiting sucide and the kids return to Seattle and Jay and Violet take their relationship to the next stage.
