When the two major city-sates of Greece were at war there were many battles and many deaths until one city-state won the would keep fighting, therefor they needed more supplies, and money

    this is important because the written code was the first of their kind that was perminatly made. it was written by a greek man named Draco, be changed if from the oral laws and blood fueds. there is a repersentation of Draco in the Supreme Court of the United States. The written laws were known to be unforgiving.

    A tyrant is a person (male) who comes to power with not legal right. this happened in many places in the 6th century. it is important because, people dont always realize that just because the tyrants did not come to power legally doesnt mean that they are not supported (mostly the poor)
