    The food here is very different from ones we have in the U.S. Here they have special foods for the holiday on Halloween we do not. Pan de Muertos which is a bread that people here have during the day of the dead season. also a popular food they have during day of the dead is sugar skulls the skulls represent life or death.
  • Parade

    There are 300,000 people here in the parade in Mexico City this year. All of them are paying tribute to the victims of the earthquake that happened on September 17, 2017 in Mexico. One of the floats during the festival procession featured a raised fist made out of helmets, pick axes and rubble paying tribute to the people who rushed to search for survivors in the aftermath of the quakes.

    While we were in mexico we visited a cemetery to see what it looked on dios los muertos. It was one of the coolest things i have seen. The graves of people were covered in flowers, candy, and lots of candles. People were mourning the deaths of there lost loved ones.
  • Altars

    Altars
    The altars are set up to remember the lost children and adults. People set these up there homes, work places and grave sites. Through out mexico there were lots of these set up and it is a very cool and touching site to see.
