The beagle arrived in Salvador,Brazil. He saw tropical forests and great vegetation. This delighted Darwin. -

The crew encounted the natives. Captain Robert Fitzroy to start a Christian mission, which fails badly. -
Falkland islands
The islands are desolate and wrecthed. He finds the fossils of brachiopads. -

Darwin explores the fertile lowland areas knnown as pompas. Met loccal people the gauchos. -
Chile
January-february 1835. Darwin sees Mount Osomo erupt. It affected him alot. He believed that the earthquake decreases the size of the island. -

Charles finally arrives at The Galápagos islands! he finds many species of plants,birds,tortoises,and iguanas. This place played a giant part in Charles darwins studies. He is most known for coming to theses islands. -
