After nuclear war broke out worldwide only a sixth of the population was left alive.
-
Roughly a year after the last great war people worldwide began to converge at pre-war global hotspots such as London, New York City, Beijing, Moscow, Cairo, Rio, and other large pre-war cities.
-
Since there was very little left of the pre-war cities it took lots of deep thought and thinking to fix even the littlest of issues such as how to decontaminate the water. There was no government at this time, people just had a sense of community and would help eachother for they had seen the error of their ways in being hostile to one another and only thinking of themselves.
-
At this time people realized that they could not go forever without government and that after reconstruction over the past 20 years it was time for a government to be formed. A handful of people would be elected by their communities to take intelligence tests and the smartest moved on to govern.
-
After a government had been formed and people had seen that they must work with eachother to survive an age of peace and tranquility began that has yet to be interrupted.
