    Children attended Koran schools. They were taught essentials to the time such as agriculture, caring for livestock and completing household tasks. The children were also taught about the Islamic religion and the virtues of Islam.

    Arts pre colonization would consist of traditional arts. These would include basketry, wood carving, clothing and hats, and jewelry making in gold and silver filigree. Filigree means it is ornamental work and it has very fine detail. Music was also a big thing as it has been influenced by the Arabic, African, Indian, and Western ideas. Instruments such as accordions, guitars, gongs, drums, and rattles were used in the making of the music.

    Since Comoro lacked many resources, houses were built of stone/coral and covered with palm leaves. There were different levels to houses that had their own classification. The street level would commonly be a place for the slaves or servants in earlier times.

    Due to lack of information it is unsure what the government was like. But the government is more or so similar so the government of the U.S. Meaning there is a president, a Constitution, and a supreme court.

    Around this time the German and British were taking over the Indian Ocean. The French were afraid of this and needed land so they targeted Comoros. Without putting up much of a fight, they took over Comoros.

    Post colonization, Comoro still lacks resources. Most houses are still built the same way and instead of slaves/servants that bottom street layer may now be shops/warehouses.

    Since the arts that the Comorian people practice are traditional, they would still be practiced after the colonization. Although there may be some of the French art integrated in there as well.

Not everything is this way though. Some of the comoranise culture has been integrated into the learning system as well. As there has been moves to Comorianise the syllabus and integrate the two learning systems.

    The government is very similar to the U.S.. Comoros government holds a constitution, A president, has a bicameral legislature, has a supreme court, and Former presidents also may serve on the high court. The president serves a 5-year term and cannot be elected more than twice. The president also holds the highest power. He/She is head of the state and head of the government.
