British Colonization in America
The British colonization pf America created drama and rioting with the indigenous people in tAmerica. People used imported military force, things such as guns and bows and arrows, and indirectly brought in diseases through travel. Relationships between the colonists, the British and natives, the indigenous people was varied betweem the different social experiences. While some would trade with the colonists, other went onto armed conflict such as fighting. -
The Proclamation 0f 1763
Gave the Indians the right to ownthe lands on which they were getting sent to stay, and reside on and colonizers in the area were ordered to leave them in peace. -
The Ameican Revoulution
By the year 1774, each colony had gotten to establish a "Provincial Congress",a governmental institution stating that the colony could govern itself, but still have to be governed within the empire, not as freely as they had wished. Those were the rules of the insititution. -

After the American Revolution, all of the Northern States in th United States had abolished slavery. -

Manifest Destiny at the time was a phrase used greatly, bringing in the idea of divine living for the people of the United States of America. It made its first appearance in the July/August section of the United States article and Democratic Review papers. The author had proclaimed in the article, "our manifest destiny to overspread the continent allotted by Providence for the free development of our multiplying millions." -

The Idea of Nationalism can be defined simply as patriotic feelings towards your nation or country. It is simply the idea of being supportive of your nation, and understanding it's weak points and strong points. Being loyal to your country is key in the idea of nationalism. -
American Civil War
Sometimes reffered to as the "War between the States", The Civil war was fought over the Confederate States. Eleven states from the south, slavery still existing at the time, achieved their secession from the United States thus forming the Confederate States of America.The states left over, (25) were supporting the federal government, going against the Confederate. -

Slavery ends for good in the United States after many years of triumph. -

Reconstruction was the time span after the Civil War had ended. It was the time period that defines itself, as literally 'reconstruction'. It was the time to get the economy back on its feet, and the time for people to settle down and rebuild themselves as a country. -

The 13th amendment was created stating that slavery was banned from all of America, and will never be allowed to return again. This not only was a relief to all, but a relief to the surrounding countries fearing their country might turn on them. -
