    This is the time the Dutch occupied Guinea from 1598 until 1872. They had an East India company post in Guinea and were hugely influencial in trade and relations over seas.

    On April 6, 1872 the Dutch occupied Guinea was given to the Britain by the Anglo Dutch treaty. The treaty gave the British full power and economic control of the colony. It was designed to shared power more equally with the Britsh commonwealth.

    In 1874 after many service starting in the 1600's and after a while the East India Company stopped because of the East India Dividend Act that actively took the control from the British government.The Act gave the power to the government of India.
  • British occupation of Guinea from 1884 until 1975

    After the transfer of Guinea from the Anglo treaty they finished the 8 year power transfer and the British got to take control of many foreign controlled ports.Then British started to deal with the control of colony that was formerly a Dutch colony.

    The French came to Guinea the same time as the British because they had trade and early diplomatic relations. They overlapped because they were ruling Guinea at the same time with the British.
  • Guinea gets indepedence from France

    Guinea gets indepedence from France
    In 1958 after some scuffles with the French they left Guinea and made their own system of government. And shortly after in 1992 they allowed 40 polical parties to form and made the National parliment of Guinea. But according to the photos I have seen Guinea is improving slowly compared to how it was before.
  • British leave Guinea in 1975 after independence calls

    In 1975 after 91 years of British rule the british left Guinea after the people felt that their should be an indepedent state of Guinea. After they fromed the National Parliment of Guinea in 1992 and over 40 political parties that are still actve today.
