This was important because of advertising, over 1.5 billion dollars were brought in, it also changed the lifestyle of millions. It impacted society because people could finally sit and home and watch TV, they could also see commercials.It also impacted the economy because it brought in a lot of money. -

This event was very important to US history because we were the first people on the moon. The US NASA program is very very good, we wanted to beat the Russians to the moon, and we did. On July 20th, 1969 at 10:56 pm we had the first ever person on the moon. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin made history, they were on Apollo 11. This event took place on the moon in 1969. Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina effected New Orleans the most. This hurricane did a ton of damage to New Orleans, the flooding did the most damage. Many people lost their homes and cars. These hurricane hit on August 29th, 2005. Hurricane Katrina was one of the most costly disasters in US history. This impacted society and economy, people lost everything they had, and also a lot of money went into rebuilding New Orleans.
