The whole U.S.A was involved in Baby Boom. Baby Boom was when alot of baby's were being born. The numbers of baby's in the U.S. went up by 29 million. The event took place in the U.S started and in 1946. It was important to bring back the population because the great depression was before this so it made the population way smaller. Kent State Massacre
A bunch of collage students were protesting. Collage students were bayoneted and clubbed. Students wanted american troops to go to Cambodia. The event took place at an ohio school. The event showed police brutality and showed how bad protest can hurt people or things. This event impacted society because moms and dads had there students get killed. The event also showed that protest can lead to riot which lead to police killing civilians. -

Nixon was involved in a scandal?! Five men broke into the Democratic party Headquarters. They were caught because they left the door slightly open. Burglary was in Washington D.C on June 17, 1972. George H.W Bush was the president from 1989 to 1993. he was president during the gulf war. Told troops to fight against Iraq. The gulf war was threw 1990 to 91. U.S. Financial Senator Wall Street. Banks trusting no one to pay them back so they stopped making loans. Insurance companies traded for credit swaps making loans. Happened in the U.S in 2008. It made the U.S go in to debt. It effected the economy because no one could get loans to pay for stuff because the banks couldn't trust anyone and didn't give out loans.
