    this involves men in the women in the 30s. In 1945-1954 the birthrate in the US grew tremendously. The birthrate grew to 29 million from 9 million. This event was important because it made up for the time the men were gone at war. Also because of this happening it effected society because there was better health care for children and women.

    NATO stands for north Atlantic Treaty Organization. the Warsaw pact was run by the Soviet Union. NATO was made in April 1945 by the WWII allies. The Warsaw pact was made in may 1955. it was used for if another country attacked a military alliance the other would have to help. this was an impact because to helped out keeping peace. the meetings took place in Brussels, Belgium. Warsaw took pace in Poland. This impacted politics because it has to do with communism and democracy.

    in 1954 Oliver brown asked local school board to let his daughter, Linda, attend an all-white school. The all-white school was closer to his home but Linda went to the all-black school. This happens in Topeka, Kansas. this even is important because it overturned Plessy vs Ferguson case. This would effect society because she effected the people around her by being let into the school.

This effected society because this is a day everyone who was alive will remember. There was 2,753 deaths. Today there is now a memorial. The one who planed this was Osama Bin Laden.
