    The Marshall Plan was a program to aid Europe economies after WW2 in order to prevent communism. The plan lasted for four years beginning in April 1948.

    The Berlin Airlift was the allied response to a soviet blockade on the allied sector of Berlin to starve the population. The allies flew air supplies night and day to feed the city.

My Grandma said that the war didn't affect her that much until her crush Elvis Presley got drafted and it broke her heart. She also said that it showed them war isn't the best option because of how much it costs and all the death it could lead to with modern technology.
