The Potsdam Conference divided Germany and Austria into four zones.also Berlin would be divided into four zones. The Russian Polish border and Korea was to be divided into Soviet and American zones.

The Marshall Plan

Berlin Airlift

The U-2 Incident was where the Soviets shot directly at a U.S. soldier. On May 1, 1960, the Soviet Union shot down a U.S. U-2 plane. this mission was to collect Soviet intelligence data.

Cuban Missile Crisis
