it was an armed conflict between several bands of the Nez Perce tribe of Native Americans. there were some armed engagements. the Nez Perce had to surrender. children and women became prisoners. -
Capture of Geronimo
geronimo was the leader of a tribe, that had continuing fights with the mexicans and americans. they would go around raiding mexican towns, and later american towns in arizona. -
Wounded Knee Massacre
it was the last battle of the American Indian War. 150 men, women, and children were killed. 41 others were wounded.
