Makcenzie took the whole regement to the indian camp and led a suprise attack. They couldent find a good path down the steep cliff. They attempted to risk it and when they finnaly made it down thier was little resistanse and most of the indians fleed to saftey leeving the camps behind for the regement to destroy,

Then the soldiers opened fire and killed many women and children.
