recognizing the African-American soldiers who had fought. Location:Morris Island south carolina, it was a win for the confederacy and it was an easy win. -

The loss for lee had made him blame himself and was offering a resignation. And some people said it was the beginning of the end for the south. Location:Gettysburg, PA, union won and it was an easy win -

It had showed that the union could fight without any access to any supplies. Location:Mississippi river, union won and it was a difficult win.
