    President Lincoln gave commands of the whole Unino army to Ulysses uses Grandt in hopes of more victories because with his expeirence, this was a significance becasue Grandt led many of the North's war victories, and with out him they may have lost the war.

    The Confederates were worried that Atlanta would be the Union's next target, so they had people who watched for them. It eneded up being a target, and the city surrended. It was another Union victory.

    Lincoln won by a landslide, and was in the National Union Party, some people thought the war would be over, until he was re-elected. The war went on and slaves ened up being free.

    The plan was to elminate any supplies, or resources the Confederates could use. The Union planned to depart after Atlanta. When cutting the supplies it wouls be easier to win the war.

    While on Sherman's march they took down the city of Savannah. Sherman telegraphed Lincoln and said that this was his Christmas gift. The Union had another victory.

    The 13th Amendment stated that slavery was against the law. It was the first step of the Union winning the war, and slavery ending.

    Served as the capital of the Confederates. It was the main place where supplies, munitions, and weapons were kept. The Union tried many times to take control over it, and finally did. Another step for the Union to win the war.

    After Richmond falling to the Union General Lee had to surrender. The Union had won the war.

    Boone shot Lincoln because he didn't like what he did as president. The South ened up going through a lot more trouble then what Lincoln would have put them through.
