The battle took place in the Sabine Pass, along the border of Texas and Louisiana
The landscape allowed the Natives to know what was going on and no massive ships could fit through the rivers
The people that were involved are the Native Americans, Jefferson Davis, & Lieutenant Dick Dowling
The outcome was that the Natives won against a whole army and navy. The Union surrendered to 47 Natives.
It’s significant because if they hadn’t lost, most of East Texas would have been conquered to the Union -

This battle took place at a Confederate camp at Palmito Ranch
It’s significant because it was a Confederate camp and the Union had been there for a while and still the Confederates won with less people.
Some people that were involved is Theodore H Barrett, David Branson.
The outcome was Confederate victory and was considered the last major clash between both sides.
It's considered to be a post-civil war encounter which makes it very significant.
