The Union leader was Pierre Buearaguard and the Confederacy leader was Irvin McDowell. The Confederacy won and it led to an army reorganization. -
The batlle occured on April 6th, 1862 in Tennessee. THe Union leader was Grant and the Confederacy leader was Jhonston. The Union won. Johnston died and the Union now had control of the Tennessee River. This battle was one of the bloodiest in the Civil War.
