This battle was taken place in Pennsylvania. The leader on the Union was Meade and Lee and Picket were on the Confederacy side. The Union won and it was important because it was the turning point of the war. -
Siege of Vicksburg
This was taken place in Mississippi.the leader of the Union was Ulysses Grant and the Confederacy was everyone. The Union won the siege and it was important because it was a turning point and the Confederacy lost control of the Mississippi River in the South. This was a forty seven day siege on water and land. -
The Wilderness Campaign
This battle took place in Richmond. The leaders on the Union side was Ulysses Grant and Confederacy was Lee. The Union won this battle and it is impotant because a lot of people had died and critics called Grant, "a butcher". Lincoln had also defended Grant because Lincoln was a fighter. -
Farragut at Mobile Bay
This was taken place at Mobile Bay, Alabama. The leader on the Union side was David Farragut. He is the highest ranking Union officer. Farragut had won and it is impotant because they had led 18 ships into the bay and Farragut kept on moving forward eventhough the South was blowing them up a lot. -
